LANA DEL REY’S NORMAN FUCKING ROCKWELL! BECOMES BESTSELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME!

As NFR! reaches new sales heights, Taylor Swift’s folklore becomes the longest-running number one hit of 2020 and Carole King rewrites the record for most weeks spent at No.2!
Lana Del Rey’s Norman Fucking Rockwell! cements its place in this history books as it becomes the bestselling album of all time, with total sales of 3,263,000 copies since its release in August 2019. The juggernaut set backtracks 3-5 this week moving 32,000 units (down 11 percent).
NFR! outshines Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born to become the biggest selling record ever released, with the latter having moved 3,248,000 units to date. Star had ranked as the bestselling record in chart history since March 2019, and earlier this year it became the first album to sell 3 million copies.

Her 2017 effort Lust for Life earned the accolade soon after its July release, becoming the first album to sell over 1 million & 2 million units respectively (it has sold 2,485,000 in total) and remaining unchallenged until being dethroned by Star in March 2019.
The three records above remain the only three to sell more than 2 million copies, and have all ranked as the bestselling album ever since their release. The timeline of bestselling album of all time is as follows:
- Album , Artist – Sales when title claimed (date)
- Tango in the Night , Fleetwood Mac – 87,000 (March 2017)
